Building Your Social Authority...
When you sign up for a social site, whether it is a social news
site like Digg.com or a community like Facebook, make sure you
completely fill out your profile and set up your links back to
your site(s). Then take part in these communities by voting for,
commenting on, and submitting things to them that are not
related to your own site.
This is called Social Authority Building and will serve you well
as you develop it on different high traffic social sites.
